Dandy Killeen serves as Senior Director, Media Group at Tony Fay PR.
Killeen joins TFPR after spending over three decades in the broadcast news industry. Winner of multiple Emmy Awards, Killeen was the Executive Producer of Sports at KTVT CBS 11 for over twenty-four years. He also worked at KDFW FOX 4 for close to a decade.
Finding stories, breaking news and conveying accurate information were the foundation of Killeen’s tenure in broadcasting. He covered multiple Super Bowls, NBA Finals, World Series and Stanley Cup Finals. Killeen worked closely with the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars in producing pre and postgame shows for each franchise.
Killeen was also on the ground floor in creating and developing the Landry Award which annually honors the top high school football player from North Texas. Named in honor of the late Hall of Fame Head Coach Tom Landry, the award started in 2010 and has been presented to some of the most notable high school student-athletes from the state of Texas including Kyler Murray and Myles Garrett.
Killeen is a proud graduate of the University of North Texas. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, he still calls “Big D” home with his family.
