Nancy Lieberman Charities will host the eighth annual Dream Ball Gala at Dallas’ Bomb Factory on Monday, February 18, 2019.  The Red Carpet opens for guests at 6 p.m., immediately followed with the show at 7 p.m. The gala includes silent and live auctions featuring unique sports memorabilia and exciting dining and shopping experiences.  Proceeds from the event will help ensure that under-resourced youth have access to educational and sports opportunities.

Producer, actor and music legend Ice Cube will be recognized as the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.  Pro Football Hall of Famer and current NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders will present Ice Cube the award.  On January 11, 2017, Cube, along with entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz, officially announced the launch of the BIG3.  Basketball legend and current BIG3 coach Julius “Dr. J” Erving will be presented with the Trailblazer Award by Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle.Erving, who popularized the modern style of play, also hosts the annual Julius Erving Golf Classic to benefit the Salvation Army, Grab A Ball & Play, and DEFY.

“I’m grateful to have the opportunity to honor these two men who are best known for challenging the norm and creating change,” said Nancy Lieberman. “They are a true inspiration for all the kids who are served through Nancy Lieberman Charities.”
